Modern, charming family friendly Ipswich home.

Positive: We really loved the spacious and airy house..we missed our flight from Auckland on the day we were supposed to check in..came the next day..back door was open..we felt at home...we even loved the neighbours with their music...believe it or not..we felt comfortable with them knowing theres people nearby...after all we would not have enjoyed our experience had there been silence everywhere..once again thank you very much.We hope you loved having us as well.. Negative: Nothing at all

Positive: Modern and comfortable

Rude agent. Forgetful caretaker. Cat poo in garden. Nice house. Positive: Lovely house. Very modern. Spacious. Double garage. Negative: Location - overlooking industrial estate. Large trucks going past. Kitchen - fine but no clean cutlery or crockery. We managed to locate them in the dishwasher. They were dirty. We contacted the host who said she would speak with the caretaker and get back to us. She never got back to us. When followed up the night before we were leaving she was rude and said " I thought you would have found the dishwasher tablets by now" and questioned repeatedly why we had not done the cleaning. She also offered a partial refund for the inconvenience but this has never materialised. Check the windows. Three windows were left open. We didn't realise this, as one was hidden behind a blind, and we left the property unsecured with our belongings inside and it was also open overnight whilst we slept. Cat poo in back garden. I am allergic to cats and when I went to bed in the main room, I started to have symptoms that indicated a cat had been present in the bedroom, specifically on the bed (bedding).

High potential but more attention to detail needed to make guests comfortable. Positive: Good layout. Negative: No table and chairs. Shower over bathtub made it difficult to use. No towel racks in main bathroom. Plug in ensuite stuck on arrival and couldn’t unclogged in ensuite. No bath mat, hand towels, tea towels, dish clothes or bin liners on arrival. Oven extremely difficult to use, manual wasn’t correct for oven. Cleaning needed to be better - mould in dins, rubbish from previous guests under couches. Door handle to toilet coming off. Barn doors to garage not practical (were also broken) and a major hazard for children. Sensor lights in ensuite very annoying. Felt done on the cheap.
